These terms explain how orders and enquiries work at Paws-For-Thought. Our personalised keepsakes are handled with care and are manually reviewed before production.
Products and personalisation
Most products are made to order using the photograph, pet name, dates, wording and delivery details you provide. Please check all details carefully before paying.
Your photograph and permission
By uploading a photograph, you confirm that you own it or have permission from the rights holder to reproduce it on the ordered keepsake. You give Paws-For-Thought and its fulfilment partners permission to use the photograph only as needed to prepare, review, produce, deliver and support your order. Do not upload unlawful, infringing or inappropriate material.
Manual review before production
Payment does not send an order straight to production. We check the photograph, spelling, wording, crop and print layout first. Printful receives imported orders as drafts, and an owner must manually confirm each order before production begins. We may contact you if information or a replacement photograph is needed.
If a separate customer proof is offered, production timings begin after that proof is approved. Otherwise, our internal suitability and print-layout review is the approval step.
Payment
Payments are processed securely through WooCommerce and Stripe. Your card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored in full by this website. An order is accepted when payment succeeds and we send an order confirmation, subject to the manual review above.
Delivery
Delivery estimates are not guarantees. Production and delivery estimates begin only after the photograph, wording and any required approval are complete. We will contact you if a material delay or production problem arises.
Changes and cancellations
Contact us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel an order. Changes may be possible while the order is still awaiting review. Once a personalised item has been manually confirmed for production, changes or cancellation may no longer be possible.
Personalised-goods cancellation exception
Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised are generally excluded from the standard change-of-mind cancellation right. This does not affect your statutory rights when goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect, not as described or otherwise do not conform to the contract.
Returns, faults and refunds
Please see our Returns Policy. Nothing in these terms limits rights provided by the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable UK consumer law.
