My bedding is how I like it now.

I wish someone would pass me the remote.

Please throw the ball one more time!

I am a pretty boy!

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...

Please bring my food.

Paws for Thought have been caring for animals for many years.  We are a very exclusive small business – our clients and their pets are more important than the revenue they generate.  We have avoided growing into a large company and concentrate on our personal, professional and friendly approach. With a small network of dedicated animal carers, each with their own unique and varied client lists, we are now  looking for some special colleagues to join us.

Dog home boarding - has become a very sought after service –

so much so, that more of us are needed.

Do you love and understand dogs?

Would you like to earn a small income?

Do you have time on your hands and are you at home?

Would you like to care for dogs in your home?

Are you fit and healthy?

Do you have a car?

We are of course licensed by East Hampshire District Council for home boarding and are fully insured.

If you feel you have the experience to become a dog carer and have a secure garden – we would like to hear from you.

The care we give to dogs who stay with us not only benefits their socialisation skills, but is also great fun for us! Our mature carers are happy to care for all breeds of well mannered dogs of all ages.   ‘Our guests’ stay in our homes and live as one of the family while their owners are away.

At Paws for Thought we understand that not all people are animal lovers – so our aim is to show consideration by not allowing the animals we care for to become a nuisance to people who are not comfortable being around pets.

Approximately half of the population are animal owners, whether they are dogs, cats, small caged pets, birds or the more exotic. Sadly, many animal lovers are unable to own pets, perhaps because accommodation does not allow this, or owners are unable to offer the care themselves, because they travel frequently or are not in the best of health.

    • Our priority is offering a personal service.
    • We are consistent and always try to ensure that pets will have the same carer.
    • Homes where the dogs will stay are dog friendly – with secure safe gardens and local country walks.
    • Our colleagues meet our high standards in animal care and receive ongoing support along with any training required.

Together we can help more pet owners when they have to leave their pets.
